Recom supplied a containerized ammonia (NH3) flake ice plant with a production capacity of 25 tons of ice per day to ArcticFish, on behalf of Frost. The ice plant is prepared for an expansion of a flake ice machine of another 25 tons. Produced ice is stored in a 35T stainless steel storage with a stainless steel heavy duty rake system, making the ice readily available for days or even more than a week. Through an ingenious distribution system, also supplied by Recom, the ice is delivered to the fish processing line built by MICRO. The entire ArcticFish factory was designed and supervised by consulting firm Pescatech.
