Recom CW-Series water chillers are a ‘must-have’ for concrete cooling plants, especially for plants with flake ice machines, due to high ambient temperatures. Even in situations where flake ice machines are not necessary, water chillers can be very important for reducing the concrete mix temperature.

Recom’s water chillers are designed and built specifically for batching and flake ice plants in extreme circumstances, such as deserts and locations with ambient temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius.
Recom 3-stage fresh water chillers are equipped with shell and tube evaporators for the first and second stage and with a coil pipe evaporator for the third stage. The evaporative condenser is made of a hot-dipped galvanized coil and is mounted upon the chiller container.

Our small water chillers have a daily cold water production of 180 m³ from maximum 45 °C to 1°C and are built in a 20 container. These chillers are suitable for an estimated daily concrete production between 200 m³ and 1400 m³.
Our large water chillers have a daily cold water production of 450 m³ from maximum 45 °C to 1°C and are built in a 40ft container. These chillers are suitable for an estimated daily concrete production between 1400 m³ and 2800 m³.

Additionally, Recom Ice Systems can supply a 20ft or 40ft insulated container, which will be used as a water tank with the necessary pumps and components.
