Plate ice machines (PL Series)
Plate ice ranges from 10mm to 15mm in thickness and has no fixed shape. Recom plate ice machines are made for commercial and industrial application and are used regularly in the fish industry. The produced plate ice is sub-cooled to -1,5°C/-2°C. One of the advantages of plate ice is that it has an even cooling effect and a constant refrigeration temperature. It also doesn’t melt easily and therefore can be stored for a longer time, up to 30% more compared to other types of ice.
